Edinburgh is a well connected city whether you are travelling by air, rail or road. From the air, it's well connected for flights from Europe. Edinburgh International Airport, is 8 miles west of the city centre on the main Edinburgh-Glasgow road. All the major car hire companies are present there and there are regular buses between the airport and the city's main train station throughout the day. You can also get taxis from the airport to the city centre.

Well served by trains running a range of services with all trains to Edinburgh going to Waverley Station but if you are driving to Edinburgh, do make some advance plans for parking in the city.
